Since 1986, the Children’s Cottage Crisis Nursery has provided a 24/7 safe haven where children can take a break from stressful situations and receive nurturing care while their parents get the help they need. But over the past ten years, the nursery has had to turn away more families than it was able to help due to lack of space and resources.
Now, the Children's Cottage Society is fundraising to build a new Child and Family Centre in northwest Calgary. It will enable us to offer expanded space, resources and amenities, as well as integrated and collaborative services of several organizations in one convenient location.
Help us make our vision to better serve children and families in crisis in our community through a new Crisis Nursery and Family Support Centre.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Children’s Cottage Society had to send home its many volunteers who help out at the Crisis Nursery and Brenda’s House. Which means there were fewer hands making meals in the kitchen, sorting donations, assisting with programs or entertaining the little ones at the nursery.
Now, with Alberta’s Stage 3 reopening, we are slowly welcoming back our volunteers to the Crisis Nursery and Brenda’s HouseLearn More
