Our New Child & Family Centre
After a long and difficult labour, we are happy to announce that our New Centre is born!
As of April 8, 2024, our Child & Family Centre is now open to serve Calgary children and families.

- A Family Resource Network Hub for Calgary West Communities
- Therapeutic Child Development Programs

The new Child & Family Centre rises to the challenge:
Over the past few years, the Children’s Cottage has been on a journey to create a new facility that will help meet emerging family needs and improve our capacity to serve the community. Times have never been more challenging for Calgary’s families, and we are ready!
As this 10-year labour of love comes to completion, we are celebrating the launch of our new 35,000 square foot Child & Family Centre. This remarkable facility has come together with the collaboration of a unique partnership of family-serving agencies that includes:
- CUPS
- Miskanawah
- Families Matter
- Calgary Counselling Centre
The new Centre will serve as the central hub for agency and partner community programs, hosting science-informed, evidence-based and impactful initiatives that will change the future trajectory of vulnerable children and their families towards resilience and wellbeing.
