Thanks to the generosity of our community, over $215,000 was raised to support the Children’s Cottage Society.
With the support of our matching donor, that means $415,000 will be helping children and families .

On December 2, the Children’s Cottage Society is once again partnered with Hines Group and XL Radio to host “Cottage Care Day,” in celebration of Giving Tuesday. With support from an anonymous donor, our Cottage Care Day was even BIGGER than last year.

What is Cottage Care Day?

Cottage Care Day is a resurrection of our beloved Radiothon which took place from 2000 to 2014 - but modernized. Last year, Cottage Care Day raised an amazing $175,000 for children and families facing adversity - and this year we are shooting for $200,000! Your support is critical to the children and families served and will help support programs like our Crisis Nursery, where children can stay up to 72 hours, providing respite support, or our new Family Mental Wellness Hub, which opened in May and children or parents can receive immediate mental health supports and resources. Because, with crisis comes adversity and at the Children’s Cottage Society, we help turn adversity into possibility.
