On Giving Tuesday 2024, the Children’s Cottage Society launched a new tradition called “Cottage Care Day,” a day filled with joy and purpose! Cottage Care Day is a resurrection of our beloved Radiothon which took place from 2000 to 2014 - but modernized. Join us this year for Cottage Care Day on December 2, 2025 from 9am to 3pm by either tuning into XL 103FM radio and/or visiting us in-person at Eighth Avenue Place.
Last year, Cottage Care Day raised an amazing $175,000 for children and families facing adversity - and this year we are shooting for $200,000! Your support is critical to the children and families served and will help support programs like our Crisis Nursery, where children can stay up to 72 hours, providing respite support, or our new Family Mental Wellness Hub, which opened in May and children or parents can receive immediate mental health supports and resources. Because, with crisis comes adversity and at the Children’s Cottage Society, we help turn adversity into possibility.
