Vendor Information & Agreement

Thank you for your interest in being part of our Indigenous Market. This market is intended to be a welcoming, community-centered space that celebrates Indigenous makers, artists, and entrepreneurs, while creating an opportunity for connection following the Moose Hide walk.

Who Can Apply

This market is open to Indigenous vendors, including First Nations, Métis, and Inuit artists, makers, and small businesses. We aim to prioritize Indigenous-led work and encourage authentic, handmade, and locally created goods.

Market Timing

Date: May 15, 2026
Vendor Set-Up: 1:00 PM
Community Walk: 2:30 PM (approx. until 3:30 PM)
Market Hours: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Tear-Down: Immediately following the market (by ~5:30 PM)

Vendors are asked to be fully set up by 2:30 PM to ensure a smooth transition as guests arrive from the walk.

Vendor Expectations

By applying, vendors agree to:

Arrive on time and complete set-up within the designated window
Remain for the full duration of the market (3:00–5:00 PM)
Bring all required materials for their booth
Ensure their space is clean, safe, and respectful of shared community space
Represent their work authentically and respectfully

Community Guidelines

This market is rooted in respect, connection, and cultural safety. Vendors agree to:

Uphold a welcoming and inclusive environment for all attendees
Respect Indigenous cultures, teachings, and community protocols
Engage with visitors in a positive and respectful way

Access to electrical outlets (by request; limited availability)

Your space will be confirmed after review of application. Submitting an application does not guarantee space.

Liability & Participation Acknowledgement

By participating in the market, vendors understand and agree that:

They are responsible for their own property, products, and booth setup at all times
The organizers are not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items
Participation is at the vendor’s own risk

While we work to create a welcoming and well-attended event, we are unable to guarantee attendance, sales, or revenue. This market is intended as a an intimate community-focused opportunity for connection and visibility.
